Who is behind Stolen Print Club?
Stolen Print Club is operated by a small team who decided to start this store to promote and help disseminate widely the work of Carsten Wagner. The store is represented by Simon Schätzle and run by Natalie Evans-Freke, who are close friends with the artist. The artist has no direct involvement with the store other than providing his amazing artwork.

How can I purchase artwork from Stolen Print Club?
To purchase artwork from Stolen Print Club, simply browse our online shop, select the items you love, and add them to your cart. Follow the checkout process to provide shipping information and complete your purchase securely.

Can I buy your prints at a physical store?
We don't have a physical store, but you can catch us at occasional art markets in Berlin and we sometimes offer limited stock at certain galleries abroad. Stay in the loop by subscribing to our newsletter, where we share updates on when and where you can find our prints. It's the best way to discover our prints in person and meet the Stolen Print Club team!

What types of products do you offer?
Stolen Print Club offers a diverse range of art, including original handmade prints and giclée reproductions by Hamburg-based artist Carsten Wagner. Our collection spans from bold statement collector pieces to accessible reproductions, ensuring there's something for every art enthusiast. We may expand our range of printed products in the future, but right now, we are focusing our production on unlimited museum-quality giclée reproductions in order to offer everyone a chance to obtain a copy of their own.

What's the difference between giclée reproductions and handmade originals?
Original prints are directly created by the artist using techniques like linocut printing, resulting in unique, handcrafted pieces. Giclée reproductions, on the other hand, are high-quality digital prints that replicate the artist's original work with precision and are often produced in larger quantities.

What are handmade originals?
Handmade originals are unique pieces created by the artist himself and they come in extremely limited editions. Once the series of prints is sold out, they are gone forever!Carsten uses many printing techniques like linocut, etching, drypoint, multiblock, monoprint, and many, many more. The exact technique used is described on each print's page, and if you want to know more about the process, check out the printmaking glossary we prepared for you!

Due to the nature of printmaking, each print is one of a kind, therefore each piece may vary slightly from the image in the photograph. There can be some errors, for example, small ink stains or minor areas where the ink has not made contact with the paper. This only adds to the artistic, handmade quality of your new artwork, making each unit within an already limited series unique. These prints are all numbered, embossed and signed by the artist, and come with their certificate of authenticity.

What are giclée reproductions?
Our giclée reproductions are high-quality, fine art digital prints produced using inkjet printers. This printing method involves using archival inks and substrates to create prints with exceptional color accuracy and longevity. Giclée reproductions are often used to replicate original artworks with great precision and detail. We take great care color-correcting professional photographs and we print locally in Germany on the same paper quality that galleries and museum use for their exhibitions (310 g/m2) to ensure you have an accurate and long-lasting replicate of a Wagner original. They are open edition, allowing more people to enjoy and collect Carsten Wagner's art. However, we may introduce limited-edition releases in the future, so stay tuned for updates. Due to being open series, these reproductions are not signed or numbered.

Are the prints framed? If not, do you offer framing services?
No, our prints are not sold with frames and we do not offer any framing services. This is primarily because frames can be easily damaged during shipping and consequently damage the print itself. Our focus is on providing you with high-quality prints that can remain a permanent addition to your art collection. We recommend framing them locally as soon as you get the package to ensure the print's protection. For more information on how to take care of your new print, please read our Care Instructions!

Can I purchase a gift card? How does it work?
Yes, we offer gift cards! Gift cards are a fantastic way to share the joy of art. Simply choose the desired amount, and upon purchase, a digital gift card will be delivered instantly via email, ready to be used on our online store.

Is it safe to make a purchase on your website?

Do you ship internationally? What are the shipping costs?
Unfortunately, we are still in our soft-launch phase and we can only ship locally to the European Union in order to test our logistics. We offer free shipping within this region! How can I track my order?
